Pre-Attached Seal

The pre-attached deck seal (deck-mounted) or gasket (curb-mounted) provides a weathertight lock between the frame and roof.

Underlayment

Adhesive underlayment creates secondary water protection against the harshest weather conditions.

Flashing

Engineered flashing makes for easy installation and additional water protection.

Made for Extreme Weather

VELUX skylights undergo rigorous weather testing and are built with quality materials to ensure they can withstand various conditions, including high winds, heavy rain, and hail.

    • From the glass to the flashing, VELUX skylights are built to last. Our materials are hand-selected for reliability and sourced responsibly.
    • Skylights are tested to withstand extreme rainfall events. They are also opened and closed up to 25,000 times – the equivalent of daily operation for over 60 years.
