- How much daylight your Sun Tunnel lets in depends on a number of factors including roof orientation (i.e., the south is always best), tunnel length, tunnel angles, time of day, season of the year, etc.
Generally, however, the 10" and 14" diameter Sun Tunnel models are best for lighting any room in your home. And due to their rigidity, the same size rigid tunnel will transmit more light than a flexible tunnel of the same size, length, and configuration.

- Flexible Sun Tunnel easily bend so it is recommended to use a flexible Sun Tunnel® when manuveuring around obstacles is required. Flexible Sun Tunnelare ideal for shorter runs. A rigid Sun Tunnel is recommended when there is a straight, unobstructed path from roof to ceiling. It produces a brighter white light and is excellent for long runs.
