Breathing new life into a family home.

New skylights provide improved energy performance.

Share

Emily Dilbeck entered the Velux Daylight Renovation Sweepstakes because the three existing, old bubble skylights in her home needed serious upgrading. They leaked and were horribly hot during the summer. After upgrading all three to VELUX No Leak Solar Powered Fresh Air Skylights, she and her family enjoy weathertight views of the sky and can open the skylights to create airflow inside their home. And best of all, they have solar-powered shades, so the family can block hot, midday sun during the summer.

The skylights are solar-powered fresh air models, size 4646 (46 1/2" W x 46 1/2" H) in the living room and size 2246 in the kitchen (22 1/2" x 22 1/2"). Read more here.
