These homeowners had not gotten around to creating a look for their bedroom, when they learned about the Brighten Up Any Room Giveaway with Emily Henderson. After entering and being selected as the winners, they met with Emily to begin their design journey and worked with a VELUX installer to get the skylights in just the right place. The skylights, installed on the east-facing roof, fill the room with morning light, while room-darkening shades make it easy to sleep. Emily's soft, layered decor, which included plenty of natural materials, perfectly complemented the calm vibe created by all that natural light.
